VILLA BACHIN

Villa Bachin is located in Kaštel Kambelovac at Biskupa Frane Franić 104 A. It is about 1 km from the town center. In the immediate vicinity is Baletna škola restaurant and beach (on the left), and on the right is the beach of Kaštel Lukšić. It is 16 km from Split, and 14 km from Trogir. Both cities are included in the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage. On the north side rises the mountain Kozjak, from the top of which there is an indescribable view towards our islands and the interior, and on the south side the Kaštela Bay, closed by the peninsula Marjan and the island Čiovo.

TOWN OF KAŠTELA

Kaštela is a picturesque town in central Dalmatia, very close to Split (the largest Croatian city on the sea), Trogir and Solin famous for its ancient Salona from Roman times. Kaštela is the name for seven smaller connected towns along the coast of: Kaštela Bay: Kaštel Sućurac, Kaštel Gomilica, Kaštel Kambelovac, Kaštel Lukšić, Kaštel Stari, Kaštel Novi and Kaštel Štafilić. The Kaštela cultural and entertainment summer takes place during the summer months in which local associations participate, and you can see: folklore shows (with international participation), concerts by local musicians, outdoor exhibitions, concerts by pop and rock musicians, literary evenings, fishing and wine evenings and more. Each place has its own local "festivals" so that tourists can get to know each place individually.

CONNECTION

Kaštel Kambelovac is connected to Split and Trogir by bus lines. It takes 10 minutes to walk from the house to the bus station. Nearby (7 km) is the modern Split airport, and in Split, the ferry port and the bus station, which are opposite each other. Numerous taxis are also active.

GASTRONOMY

Mediterranean gastronomy is known for its food rich in vegetables, domestic olive oil, fish, seafood, wine and typical Dalmatian fruits such as figs, almonds and grapes. The Mediterranean climate favours the production of wine, which is why Kaštela is known as the homeland of the red wine Zinfandel, which can be tasted in local wineries. Along with wine tasting, it is also possible to stop by the recently opened Familia brewery. Traditional dishes, as well as newer ones, can be tasted in restaurants located in our area and thus enjoy the tastes and smells of our food. Famous restaurants in the area are: Baletna škola restaurant, Intrade, Mala Mora, Stari Dvor, Kadinela, etc.
